I've had an itchy mole on my back for months, but every time DH looked at it it just seemed like more of the same keratosis (?) pilaris, like little ingrown hairs, that I have all over. Last night, however, he noticed that is has become very dark and scaly, and it is sticking up from the surrounding skin. Now I am prone to hypochondria, but it very much looks like one of those scary photos. To make matters worse, I read that such cancers can kill within weeks. And the earliest I can see the doctor is Wednesday.

Argh! Not much I can do right now, but it's still scary!
