And was VERY impressed Anne, Brooklyn, Bijou ....... and New Zealanders Sal and JenniNZ who are close-by
Good quality and design - and some brands were absolutely impeccable and exceptional quality. Good diverse sizing and models too.
I went to an extremely good and absolutely gigantic mall in Johannesburg, South Africa last week - "The Mall of Africa" - and saw four Australian stores. The Australian climate is very similar to the climate in South Africa - the seasons are the same (Southern hemisphere), so it makes perfect sense. Their Winter collections are in stores at the moment,
I was greatly impressed with ALL four stores:
1. Cotton On (big on climate change, sustainability and ethical practices)
Did some teenage shopping with and for a dear friend's 17 year old daughter here. Very colourful and hip. We had a ball!
2. Trenery
3. Witchery
4. Country Road

I also have to punt some SOUTH AFRICAN brands like Woolworths and Milady's for their excellent quality, good prices, and devoted commitment to diversity and environmental concerns.
Sorry, but no pics. Too involved taking it all in. Always good to see what the other side of the world is doing in person
