Now that I have a clue about what I should wear and what I like, I have finally come up with my wish list. Our fall will still be blistering hot (to me), so you will see several summery type tops and shoes as well.

Wow, I love ALL of that! The yellow jacket, yellow knot shirt, cords. Very nice!! I am hoping to get started on a fall wish list soon, but it's so overwhelming!

Love the list. I have no idea where to start on one for myself. Too overwhelming. That black polka dot skirt rocks! Sarbear, I was just looking at that very same bag just last night. I like it a lot.

Angie, I think I might attempt more skirts! I don't like wearing them to work because it's so cold in here, but with tall boots and tights I think I can pull it off in about a month or so. I love these

I grew up wearing a lot of skirts (school, church) and once I got married I quit wearing them because I wasn't fond of my legs. But the polka dot skirt and YLF are giving me confidence!

So does anyone have any suggestions for a trench coat? Specifically color and cut? I do have a natural white/super light beige colored trench-style coat that is water proof. It's very tailored and has a single row of buttons down the front. Do I NEED another trench? or will this one go well with the fall wardrobe I have picked out? So I'm assuming that my wishlist purple bag will not look good with such a light coat, is that correct? And are my brown boots both skirt and pants worthy? I do not know yet how wide the shaft is, so I don't know if it will be better with skirts or pants yet.

Fantastic list Sarah! For a fall trench, I would probably go with a classic black, or this year something more fun like plaid or tweed, but I'm not sure how long that trend will last. Coats are so expensive that I like to make them last for years. So I would probably go with black for me, but your list looks like you have more than $50 to spend on clothes each month. I adore the brown boots, and think they would go great with skirts and pants.
