Sorry I haven’t posted or commented much lately. We are living in our new apartment now, but still have many boxes to go through and unpack. I’m thrilled to have fast internet again though.
In another conversation I gave my fall shopping list and links to some clothes I fell in love with at Express. Most of them didn’t work out when I tried them on, but the two I wanted most were not in the store I looked at (a plaid knee length skirt and a silk wrap top). So last week my husband took me to another mall with another Express. Our wonderful Ana sent me a $30 off coupon for the silk wrap blouse I’m in love with, but my husband wanted me to try it on before ordering it. We didn’t find it at the store, but we did find the plaid skirt I loved. I tried it on with a silk necktie blouse and fell in love with the combination. It’s a killer outfit, and I will post a picture as soon as I can. The camera is experiencing technical difficulties right now… For now I will keep you all in suspense. Let’s just say that it has to look good or I wouldn’t have paid $118 for the skirt and top combo. That included the $30 discount, so I used your coupon on that instead Ana.
I wish I could get the wrap top too, especially since it is now on sale. (It appears to be online only, but I’m not too worried since it’s a wrap.) However, I’ve spent so much money this year that once the books were caught up, I discovered that I’ve already spent all of our clothing budget through the end of September. So now I’m on a shopping ban until October 1, but it was worth it for this outfit. The next thing I need is a pair of dark skinnies, but I have until October to find the perfect pair.
