You are such a a warm, generous, kind hearted presence on the forum with a BIG heart and BIG style. You have, on more than one occasion reminded me of my mother (hugs). I, too, have noticed San's absence and have missed her. She was especially on my mind recently when I turned 50. In addition to her kind spirit, San has been one of just a few style icons I always look to for guidance and inspiration. San, you and Taylor wrote the book on aging with stye and grace.

Sandy, I just found this thread and want you to know that i miss you and think of you often. I'm a bit shy about PMing, thinking it might not be well received, but had planned to do it this weekend to tell you there's a big bead show coming up which I hope will have a lovely selection of glacier-colored choices. San, I became active only recently (after lurking for a long time), so we may not "know" each other that well, but I had to chime in and say that I always loved your posts so much. I remember when you took the time to describe, in amazing detail, your fabulous Frye collection to someone who was considering buying a pair. You were so giving and so thoughtful! Sandy I can't say anything the other ladies haven't already said, but I can assure you that in my first few days/weeks here at YLF, you were one of the very first people that made me really stop and look twice at your outfits!

You were then, and still are, quite an inspiration to a beginner like me, and to quickly realise that you were an absolute gem of a person just made me love your posts even more <3

I didn't realize you'd been quiet on the forum because I've been loving getting your comments on my blog.
