Sandal hunt

This is a follow up on my post about sandals. I think that what I'm looking for is a fashionable sandal that can stand up to the occasional long walk on bad terrain. BUT that is so hard to find. As mentioned in the other post, I'm bringing hiking boots, trainers and wellingtons as well.

I saw the Ecco Kawaii sandal and was thinking it was more fun than the usual gear sandal. The darker colour would bookend my hair. I'm not sure this is a fashionable city walking sandal, though.

I think the style would work with skirts and dresses. I love the punch of citron in this which makes it more on trend too. It's a fun sandal IMO. But it may or may not act as a neutral with your wardrobe. Have you checked if it works well with your wardrobe? Or with skirts and dresses that you want it to work with?

Thank you, Neel and Glory! I think the citron will work well in my wardrobe, because it consists of mostly neutrals. I have a red dotted skirt (#1) that I might bring to a trip like this. Citron will work with that, too.

It's definitely less chunky as the typical gear sandal. I've been looking for comfy sandals lately and this is one of the nicer ones that I've seen that are still functional.

also take a look at the new J-41. They have them on Zappos too. I like the look that has just the black soles without the bright colors as it looks less like sporty or gear.

I like the J-41, but unfortunately customs taxes are very expensive when buying from Europe.
