I am headed to San Francisco tomorrow with the DBF, who is attending a convention. I am going to have at least one day to myself. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for cool or funky vintage shops, thrift shops, boutiques, etc. Any must-see flagship stores?

We are staying on Mission Street, so anything that is easy to get to on-foot or by easy-to-navigate public transportation would be ideal
