I am just back from a week in Samoa - such a beautiful spot. We have a large Samoan population in NZ so it was wonderful to visit.
For those that don't know, Samoa is a Polynesian independent nation, that was a colony of Germany and then NZ. There are two main islands, plus a host of smaller ones. It is different to American Samoa.
We spent four days at some beach fale (huts), on Lalomanu Beach which was impacted by the 2008 Tsunami. We had a day in Apia and a couple of nights at a different resort at the other end of the island. Walking, swimming and reading were the main activities with some cultural events, eating and snorkelling in the mix. We met some interesting people from France, Germany, Czechia and Australia at the fale where meals were family style. We saw and participated in Samoan dancing, watched a parade, and swam in a trench, waterfall, cavepool, a swimming pool, on an island where we were the only guests and at a beautiful beach. Samoan people are generous kind and friendly.
My packing went well - I could have taken less active wear, and potentially one less pair of shoes. I ripped a skirt on a walk so that did not survive the trip.

I adjusted my capsule a bit - adding in my linen trousers and taking out a dress. I also added my cashmere tee for the hotel dinner prior to departure. My most worn pieces were my Alamais palazzo pants and the striped tee along with the red swimsuit and birkenstocks.
Attaching some photos, not really of outfits as it was not a fashionable trip at all.
