Same shoes, different fits + N&Z jacket

1-3. Wearing my long J Crew cotton cardi and a scarf today--it's chilly again. With a couple of Novica bracelets. I have one in garnet too, but it's hard to put on and doesn't work with these. Also one of my Paris '15 scarves that I haven't worn much this year.

With Munro shoes I bought a couple of years ago--color called champaign. Not worn much, not very comfortable, worse this spring. Thinking about donating. I don't like the gold shoes so much. Okay in sandals, but something about these besides the fit keeps me away from them. What do you think?

4. Similar pair I bought first, color called pewter. More comfortable, but still more of an "out to dinner shoe." More comfortable than gold shiny shoes.

5. Fedex just arrived with my Nic & Zoe knit sale jacket bought ages ago. A matching sleeveless top has gone astray--but maybe it will arrive today.

I love the jacket--lightweight and great for wearing over sleeveless tops. Well, after I iron it. It does smell of Febreze, but not too bad.

Our mail carrier got bogged down yesterday and didn't make it to our house. My N&Z top supposedly was delivered, but like the lip balm, not here. I'll wait and see if it shows up, if not back to Nordstrom Chat.

The gold shoes nicely bookend your hair, but if they’re not comfortable it’s time to pass them on. Maybe that much bling on your feet doesn’t feel right?

Is this your jacket/swacket? I was a little surprised but not shocked that the tweed is navy and not black. I also bought the matching geranium jeans but they really need to be shortened. I missed the sleeveless top, but I rarely wear sleeveless anyway since I run so cold.

I enjoy seeing you enjoy your jewelry and even more the memories the pieces bring back.

I LOVE the gold shoes! Gorgeous with your hair. And outfit #1 is KILLER.

That said, life is too short to wear uncomfy shoes. I get that more than most! Do pass on. Same with the bronze if they aren't comfortable enough.

I LOVE the coral jacket with you, sweet MsMaven. I really like it matched with a stripe. Do you have one of those?

Lovely outfits! The scarf in #1 is working great with cardigan and very flattering next to skin ( probably will work well with light colored pants like white or light khaki ). Bracelets are nice and delicate and go well with gold shoes ( which I really like ).
Sad that both shoes aren't comfortable enough - could they be stretched a bit by a cobbler? Would that help?..

Donna, you may be right. That much bling on my size 11 feet seems like too much. Yes, that's the jacket. I'm having a hard time resisting the sale prices.

slim cat, I haven't tried stretching them. I could try one of Angie's home methods--but I have to look them up. The shoes aren't very supportive, but better than ballet slipper shoes. I could try the Superfeet again, but they take up more room than the innersoles. Unfortunately it's a long way to the nearest cobbler, but when we can move around more I'll look and see if I can find one.

Angie I'm a bit reluctant to give up on these shoes yet. My feet are still changing though and it gets harder to find dressy shoes. I'll keep them a while longer--not like I can donate anything right now.

I've got to check out my closet--I have a navy/red Boden tee, and that blue/white J Crew tee. I don't have a lot of stripes right now.

The eyelet detail on the coral jacket is such a great detail. You wear the blazer jacket shape so very well. ‘Yes’ to styling it with the blue and white striped T.

More love for the gold shoes and outfit #1, but don’t keep uncomfortable shoes. Your new N&Z jacket is a beautiful color on you. I hope the top shows up if it hasn’t already.

The top did show up tonight. The mail carrier delivered it instead of UPS. We live in strange times. I’ll try it tomorrow.

These are great! I love the long cardi and the new blazer is fantastic! The fit on that is perfect. It looks like it was made for you. Hope the gold shoes ease up--Munro is known for comfort. That's disappointing that they're not living up to their reputation! Gold bookends your hair--I kind of love them!

I second Angie. The coral blazer with a striped top would be fun! The shoes are lovely, but the fit is worrisome.

I feel your pain on the “fun” of finding shoes that have the right look once they’re blown up past the cute little 6s usually displayed in stores. I wear size 10.
