I bought the taupe suede because the white leather fringe ones remind me of the 80s or 90s white western fringe boots in a way that is tacky to me. I liked googled pics of people wearing the taupe. I already have taupe suede booties & black booties, including Minnetonka fringe ones & knee high Minnetonka tobacco or whiskey or cognac colored ones. I figured 2 pairs of taupe suede booties a waste & I do want white booties. Sometimes though a style looks good in one colour or material but not another right? Should I just keep the taupe & look for something else in white like a pointy toe or open toe cage kinda bootie or something more modern, less western? I will end up with 2 taupe booties but I like this bootie in this colour. I could return them & use the money for the white bootie when I find it, which would be the smart thing to do given my budget & space & boot/bootie collection. Is this style on the way out anyway?
As per Angie's blog on priorities I don't need white booties. I have white converse chucks, 2 pairs of white platforms that i need to post on here for opinions on dated or not, snakeskin heeled sandals & snakeskin cowboy boots that are black on top but white python on bottom, white jack rogers.
I don't have the wardrobe for it so much right now but I've always wanted white patent mod 60s booties. It's hard for me to wear patent & I've never found the booties.
