Sal’s June Challenge ETA: today’s outfit

I am taking on Sal’s June challege with 10 bottoms. Eczuse Mune weather can be anything...cold with snow or without to hot sunny summer, I reserve the right to make substitions, one in, one out, for comfort if needed. I will try to make these in the same color, if they are made at all. These are my 10 items:
1. EF pull on blue denim (1)
2. EF navy jersey ( full length, can be rolled up) (#2)
3. EF black Ponte Knit (#6)
4. Signature Petite black with tiny white dots. (#6)
5. EF heavy wide white linen (#4)
6. Chico’s white utility pants (#5)
7. Prana olive joggers (#10)
8. H&M palm print, olive and black on cream (#9)
9. Chico’s cobalt blue (#7)
10. EF black tube skirt
11-14: today’s outfit with EF blue jeans and striped tunic, Jean jacket, pearls and small bag made by an aunt. Shoes are blue denim colored Borns.
ETA: second outfit with EF pull on denim jeans is with short sleeved tee.(15/16).

Thank you, Tanya. I think I have plenty of variety in bottoms going into summer but this will help me see if I need loner tops or more bottoms to prevent laundry back ups.

Interesting Joy! Working with darker colours mostly... or I don’t suppose the truer neutrals... I’m curious as to what you’ll do!

I like darker colors in Summer but outfits will involve lots of black and white. I want summer pants in red-orange , and yellow, maybe aqua too.
I have lots of white.

I also thought this looked dark for you, Joy! But then, we aren't seeing the tops you will wear with them. That changes things up quite a bit.

Me too, Angie. Last year the ski resorts were open for 4th of July skiing due to May and June snows. They finally closed due to lack of social distancing ability on lifts.

So pleased you could adapt the challenge to make it work for you.... and all bottoms is a good idea. I cheated by having a range of pieces so I can get in three in one outfit!!

Thank you , Sal. I really needed to make outfits for summer and warm fall with the bottoms I have collected. This will be a good challenge. My first thought is to use a long sleeved, short sleeved and sleeveless top for each bottom. That may not be possible and toppers will also come into play.

Thank you , Shevia. These shoes were bought for travel because of their comfortable and that they are very light weight. I hope the challenge outfits will look good.

Joy, it will be so inspiring to see how you mix things up on this challenge. I hope the weather cooperates, snow in June / July is not summer weather!

Thats a great take on the challenge to use 10 bottoms. I think this is a great idea if you are like me and rely on certain pieces on bottom like jeans. I will be interested to see how you style these pieces.

Thank you, Bijou and Sally. In the past I have relied on jeans but now have to rely on pull on bottoms. I need to learn how to do that.
I also need to figure out how to organize this challenge so I can wear and photograph the one item three ways easily. Ideas?

Thank you Bonnie and Nemosmom. The weather is several seasons in one day so a challenge for dressing. This is a very busy week so I hope to get some outfit photos tomorrow between meetings and picking up the grandkids from ski camp and heading to the library and playgrounds.

A k, posted too soon. I am in the process of adding photos. This outfit was for a day that started out cool and got warm. The tee is from Lucky, denim blue and red, white, and blush. Shoes are Voconic perforated white flats. I used a Nicole Miller Red Cross body bag. The tee is worn over an EF silk tee for modesty.

It all looks amazing on you - my favorite outfit I think ( big fan of printed Lucky Brand' tees ). The bracelet, necklace, perforated flats and smart layering the printed tee over silk top - fab results!

Two great outfits - I love how you accessorise - the pearl and leather necklace is a unique and fun piece. The second outfit is fabulous too and a great way to wear dark pants in warm weather.

Thank you, Slim cat, Mirjana, Sal and Bijou. I’m glad the outfit and tee get approval. The tee will get a fastener to hold the beck closed. As is, the neckline does not allow wearing the tee on its own.
