A safari style topper has been on my shopping list for a while, and after reading the reviews for this one https://www.llbean.ca/shop/Wom.....GBhBAEiwAa I placed my order. A few days later, Angie put a spotlight on safari style with some examples. My topper arrived yesterday, and after trying it on, I decided it was a keep. The jacket is 98% cotton, 2% Lycra. It has lots of pockets, including side entry pockets behind the front patch pockets. There is an internal cinch cord that provides an opportunity for waist definition, and the sleeves have 2 button options, so scrunching is easy and stays put. Additionally, it comes in some yummy colours (I was tempted by the Black Plum.)

Did a quick outfit creation session to see if I could replicate some inspirational combinations.

#1/2 A white button down instead of a t-shirt, and leather slip on Keds instead of loafers.
#3/4 A sleeveless black tank and cutoff white jeans. Since I don’t have the dark hair of the model to bookend the black top, I wore black sneakers. I think more refined footwear (like a loafer or simple wide strap sandal) would work better, but I have to work with what I have atm.

The topper is too warm for the weather we are having at the moment, and I actually consider it as my first F/W purchase, though I will wear it if we get a cool spell.

Thanks for looking!
