Rugby polo shirts

Hi all you lovelies!
does anyone else wear rugby polo shirts? I’m loving the joules and j crew ones at the moment, I never used to wear anything like that but I got bought one for my birthday and I’m in love, the collars are stiff so can wear the collar up without it falling down lol!
My daughter has always worn a few and she was the one who said to put the collar up as she does lol!
Whats your views and opinions on rugby polos and are you a collar popper or collar down?

I don’t. I’m tempted, often. But as someone who leans preppy, but wants to look current, I’m not sure it fits with my current style. I’ll add that I’m on my 3rd or 4th fashion cycle of rugby’s, which also plays into my reluctance. But if you like them, give them a go.

My daughter likes them too. I am not a collar popper but do something like to experiment with them.

I don't but coming from NZ it's hard to wear a rugby shirt without people thinking you are actually off to play rugby!!

I often like the colours and the striped patterns they come in.

@jaime - it’s good to experiment! Your daughter is a collar popper aswell then! I see a lot of people wearing collars up again now

Happy that you're enjoying your new polo shirts, they're a classic. I've often surprised myself by trying on a different style and rather liking the end result. I also tend to collar pop too.

I do not wear them. I own no polo shirts. They seem too fussy, to East Coast US or golf club wear. You are tempting me to add a polo shirt to my closet. I don’t think I will ever love them but one never knows.
