They are tight on me, too - but the deal breakers keeping me from sizing up are:
- Unlined (I'd expect more for the price, plus the wool is kinda scratchy)
- Too narrow to fit over my most form-fitting boots.
- So thin that unsightly lumps are even created by my ankle boots
- Stirrups attach at a place on the inner pant leg that also makes them impossible to use over boots of any kind.
- Button details at waist (for suspenders, I think) interfere with belts.
If they were $30, I'd size up and wear with pumps. But for $200, they go back.
