Rose gold GIRLS' sandals! - YouLookFab Forum

I am trying an experiment: I've just ordered a pair of girls' sandals! I ordered these for my 12-year-old a month ago, but it has only just been warm enough to wear them. They look so fantastic on her, and then it occurred to me that I don't currently have a pair of sandals that are in a close colour to my feet (all three of my pairs of sandals are black). I figure the fact that they blend into my skin will help counteract the stumpifying qualities of flat gladiator sandals. And I really like the shiny rose gold. We've had good luck with quality when it comes to Hanna Andersson. I had to guess with sizing, but I looked it up and it appears that a girls' 4 is the same as a women's 6, so here's hoping.

I also hope, if they fit, that my kid isn't annoyed by her mother having the same shoes as her...

I think they'd look great! I have ordered girls' clothing items from HA before (pjs, tees) and they work really well. There's a better chance of fit with open toed shoes, so I'd go for it! I look forward to hearing how they turn out for you.

They look pretty cushiony for kids' shoes. Good luck! All my sneakers are boys' size 4 - easier to find AND much less expensive.

What a great idea. I think these are very attractive. I like the idea that they add a bit of sparkle to an outfit without going too far. It's an easy way to jazz up a casual outfit.

Cute! I buy boys' shoes sometimes (oxfords, sneakers) and I'm usually a 5 (6.5 or 7 in women's) so 4 sounds about right.

I have boxy feet, and I find that kids' shoes are shaped more like my feet than women's shoes.

Too funny - yesterday I was trying on the cute shoes in the kids department as I wandered by after buying a pair of gray dress slack I found out I'm a size 5 youth with socks, and I'm a 6.5 in women. I wish they did half size for kids.

Aliona, I've never ordered HA kids' clothes for myself (although I did buy a women's candy cane stripe nightie once), but my kids have had a lot of their stuff over the years and it's usually very high quality -- both the fabric and the construction.

Kristin -- yes, the shoes do seem pretty cushiony. My daughter says they are comfy. I wanted to try hers on but they are too small.

Staysfit -- I love gold and silver shoes, yet so far don't own a pair. This is an inexpensive way to give it a whirl. They actually look better in real life than in the picture. Nice soft leather.

Greyscale -- I have bought boys' Converse before, too! Unfortunately they fell apart faster than the adult ones. I think the materials are cheaper.

Karen13 -- fitting into youth shoe sizes is one of the advantages of small feet! Too bad there aren't half sizes -- but youth sizing goes up to 5, I think.
