Just a quick follow up:

Thank you to all who responded to my original post here: http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....olex-broke

After visiting many watch and jewelry stores and receiving many EXPENSIVE repair options, my dad remarked on my new watch (a cheapish Costco watch) and I told him how sad I was about the broken Rolex. He recommended a tiny jewelry store very close by. I visited and they can drill a hole in the bracelet and insert a new rod where the old one broke, then solder it closed for a whopping $125...

Thank you to all the YLFers who made me believe I COULD find someone who could fix it if I was just persistent enough!

Thank heavens for those small local businesses who offer great service at a reasonable price!

And Dads are amazing and awesome!
