rise on Gap 1969 L&L?

Can anyone tell me what the front and back rise is on regular length Gap 1969 long and lean jeans? It looks like their regular length inseam of 33" is good for me with flats. I need a longer-than-average rise though. 8-8.5" front doesn't do it for me. I don't see the rise listed on the website. I would probably wear an 8 or 10 if that matters.

I've 3-year-old pair of sz 8R L&L jeans that measure 7" in the front and 12.5" in the back.

Ugh. Out of my shopping cart they go. Sigh. And people rave about them so much!

ETA: I meant that I know a lot of people love them so I'm bummed that they won't work for me, not that they aren't great jeans.

Good news! I have some brand new ones, just arrived two days ago. I'm not sure where rise is measured to, but they are 9" to the button hole, 9.5 to the top, and 14.5 (to the middle of the waistband)" at the back. They are big... I take an 8 in other Gap jeans, but these 8's are too big,and I've ordered a pair of 6's.

Well I've just gone nuts on the Gap website. The L&Ls are nearly out of stock on several styles! I ended up buying the white in 8, 10, & 12 - just in case. I figure one of those has *got* to fit! Then I bought a dark wash in 8. It was the only size they had left. I'm really hoping the 8 fits but since my little weight gain I'm just not sure.

I also bought the "favorite v-neck T" in short sleeve and long sleeve in several colors, all in the tall sizes. Those plus a couple pair of jeans that fit me would go a long way toward giving me a little something to wear!

I hope they work for you. I just got some pre-owned on ebay after reading all the rave reviews. I can't wait to get them and try them out.

Got my L&Ls today, but I don't think they are going to work for me. The rise in the back seems a little low for me. Maybe they have changed the style and this is the older one?

I think I just got the wrong size. I wore them last night to see if they would stretch a bit. They did, but not much. I got a 10 because I read that they stretched. I'm going to order in my regular 12 and I think the rise will be fine. Part of my problem was that my big ol' thighs were pulling them down.

LOL on the thighs. I'm long but not so lean at the moment, so we'll see how it goes. That's why I ordered 3 different sizes. I figure one is bound to fit!
