I do so like their posts on trying to figure things out about unworn items or less-worn and whether they should stay or go. I need this!

One thing I tried this weekend is putting together what ought to be the very most flattering way to utilize a give item--say a jacket or a pullover.
So, carefully choosing bottoms--pants and/or skirt--and footwear, and tights if needed, so that the supporting act had all the elements of what makes me happy and confident, no "distractors" as it were.

Then see if my reaction is, " I can't wait to wear this in the coming week" vs., hmmm, looks nice....

This is a lot like just "setting the bar" high enough, but it created a kind of roadmap for me to follow, in which the idea is not to see how many ways I could wear something, but if there were at least one super way. Then it's always a choice or issue as to whether that way is useful or imaginary, or is enough to earn its keep, or whether it's not versatile enough, A different, though important, element.
