Speaking for myself, I think maybe I've chosen the plainer, safer, more practical versions of things too much, and I'm trying to choose a few things that are more of a statement. It's hard, though, because the practical things are, well, more practical! Looking at you, my almost all black and gray closet!

Thanks Parsley! And yes, I tend to do the same, play it safe too often which results in a wardrobe that could use some interest. On the other hand some of the more out there things I've bought were never worn and got purged quite fast. I think it's difficult to find the right balance.
