Revised Holiday Casual & comfy boots :)

Thank you for all of the moral support on my holiday outfit yesterday. I ended up switching out the boots for bronze as Laura suggested. I'm also taking the opportunity to share a WIW and some booty I've been agonizing over the Veronica Shorties--tried them on and decided against them. I decided on these instead to complete my "all day" boot capsule. Thanks to Rae and Diana for fit/comfort info. You are going to have a hard time talking me out of them because they are both So. Darn. Comfortable.

Adore the turquoise skinnies in pic#1 especially.

Love all the boots here. And that furry vest. I am still searching for one I like. I think these earthy colors are lovely on you! Sweater #2 looks great to layer with a shirt or turtleneck on colder days too.

@Cathy: THANK YOU! What can I say except that I love boots They are my favorite fashion item.
@Lyn: I’m glad the colored skinnies get a thumbs up. They are as close to festive as I’m going to get this year. Thank you for the compliments on my hair--it is driving me crazy. I’m still trying to grow it out into a longer shag.
@Diana: They are uber comfy. I can’t believe how comfortable they are. I’m not sure they are exactly fashion forward but I think they work in a funky kind of way. OMG, did I tell you how comfy they are? WOW!
@Angie: I was having holiday doldrums yesterday and it was YLF to the rescue. The first one is the finished outfit. Laura suggested metallic pumps but the only thing I had were metallic boots. I think it worked out much better than the black booties I had initially tried.
@Ceit: Lol! The bronze booties are ages old--the brand is Facade (from Nordie’s.) The second boots are Miz Mooz Pacey (also ages old.) I thought the Pacey’s were going to get the heave ho this year but I polished them up with some of that Doc Marten’s Wonder Balm and they look amazing. The brown shorter boots are Rockport Anna that Rae has and the black space age boots are Naot. The last two are recent purchases from 6pm.
@Lisa: Thanks. I lucked out on the furry vest last year. I searched high and low before finding this one--it even got Angie’s approval! The brown tunic is Tommy Hilfiger. It’s great by itself or over a long sleeve tee. This is the kind of sweater that I could live in--easy to wear and layer over!

@Rae: Thanks! I love the distressing. It's kind of weird how they seem to distress more where they bend. I think it's kind of charming though. Makes me feel a little RATE

You look great Kelly. I missed your thread yesterday, but the outfit you got sorted out looks SO good. I can't believe you just happened to have a pair of bronze boots lying around! You must have quite a boot collection (and you should, since you wear them so well). I hope you have a marvelous time.

The bronze boots look so great with the vest. If I ran into you at a party, I'd have trouble refraining from running my fingers through that furry vest -- it's so cozy looking!

Would you mind sharing how the Rockports fit? Are they TTS? I'm eyeing them for myself.

Love the cozy, bronzed look! Those boots are the perfect festive foot forward...

The fuzzy vest and tunic reminded me of the duck dress and fur gilet Andrea posted a while back as an outfit she was contemplating. Great formula, and one I need to keep in mind as cooler days hit --- I wonder what I could use instead of the fur vest/gilet?

And I'm so going off to throw a tantrum about the absence of boots from our Rockport outlets in India x-( They look so cool... and you say they are comfy too?
