I got home from work before it was dark this time and also turned on all the lights in my house, so hopefully the pictures are clearer this time!

1/2) Copycatting Angie's perforated cognac booties. Brown is an unusual color for me, but these are almost nude against my skin tone and the leather is SO soft. My plan is to wear these barefoot in the shoulder seasons that last for so long here in northern California.

3) Halogen patterned midi skirt -- I'm wearing size 2P which is a bit snug in the waist. The fabric is different than what I expected, much drapier (a knit rather than a woven). I still love this print, but I don't love the length on me in this cut, and hemming would mess with the pleat detail. So this ended up being a return.

4/5) Halogen shift dress, another item I was suckered into by the print... I'm not sure about the fit on me though? Please advise! This is the right size, smallest available (XXSP) and I wouldn't be able to go any smaller in the shoulders anyway. Looks great with my new green moto jacket, although in reality I'd be unlikely to wear them together because this thin polyester faux-silk material makes a high summer dress for me. If it's cold enough to require a lined jacket, my butt and legs would freeze in the dress!

6/7) Blondo Giselle Waterproof Sneaker. It has a small hidden wedge heel. I like the color but the overall style of the shoe is too clunky/sporty for me.

8) Sweaty Betty floral leggings from the catalog. The print is just as cool in person, but I did NOT like the fabric, which makes a strange rustling noise and doesn't feel that comfortable.

9) Zella Live In High Waist Leggings -- Angie told me to try these on, so I complied Size XS here, which fit everywhere except the top of the waistband where it dug in a little bit. I think this style of "high compression" legging isn't my favorite -- I prefer the buttery soft stretch of Athleta Powervita and Beyond Yoga -- but for the price these are a really great value.

Not pictured:

- Frame Le High Slit Hem skinnies: not for petites, and size down. The ankle detail means that they can't really be hemmed. I ordered my usual premium denim size 26 and it felt a bit loose even in the first few minutes.

- I exchanged the Natori Flora bra for a size up (my usual size 32B) and the fit is perfection for my shallow, wide-set bust. Maybe even better than my numerous Natori Feathers bras. I plan to put it through its paces immediately, and if it wears as well as it fits, I'll be duplicating before the sale ends.
