Wow! Nordies is packing and shipping as fast as I can select and push a button! We all know that's much too fast!

After my Zero and Maria Cornejo dress confusion. Which still continues, I had the mini epiphany that I look best in my sheath dresses, and that structured items are among my most flattering looks. I also realized that I could wear a medium navy blue. So, when I saw Angie's Gilet, I decided to stretch my fashion wings and give it a try. It's a darker inky shade, but I think I can pull it off! I love it, and it is absolutely gorgeous. So, Angie, if you are reading this, imitation is indeed the highest form of flattery. I sized up to one size larger than my typical for Rag and Bone, which often runs big on me, but the fit recommendations all said it ran small. It may need some taking in, but minor. I think the smaller size would have been too small.

The North Face poly fill gear coat. The dove gray is an almost yellow gray. I am not fond of the color, it's not at all what I anticipated. The blue is also not quite what I anticipated but I like it. The small seems large and roomy to me.

Suz, if you are reading this, it absolutely has a two way zipper at the bottom. I knew it would. Even though it says it's the equivalent of 600 fill down, this jacket is lightweight and sublimely fitted. When I sized up to the medium the sleeves were long on me. That's a rarity, so the sleeves must be very long. I have swimmers arms. They are long.

Trouve floral top - this was a beautiful top. The side has cut out panels. There is a small strip which I hoped would be more substantial, to cover my bra. It didn't. I think putting something under the top might ruin it's looks. It's a great top for someone younger who doesn't mind baring more skin and showing off their bra.

Frame ruffle collar top - I like this best when it's tied so the collar is shut. I like this top. There is nothing special about it quality wise. It is well made but I have white silk tops of better quality for which I paid less money. The selling point is the collar detail. I have tried another top with this detail but the silk wasn't as substantial. For this design, it's the best I've seen so far.

Plaid shirt - nothing special here. The material is okay. It was fairly soft. It was thin. I have plaid shirts I like better and would never reach for this over them so it's going back.

Thermal Henley - I found this too large and too thin. I am looking for something warmer for my lounge wear. This could be nice for layering though or in a warmer climate. I'm returning.

Boss printed top - this top goes with the Boss ensemble that I am planning to keep. I am surprised how much I like the style. There is a high low effect, the clasp hardware is high quality, and could be a piece of jewelry because it is so cool looking, the print is probably too high contrast for me. I'm not sure. I need to post pics and get some opinions. The dark shade isn't black, I believe it's ink blue, and it also has some grey, which made me very happy. It's hard to see on my monitor, so I was pleased because my winter palette is very blue and grey dominant.

NYDJ and Plieone tops - Print tops like this are not my typical go to item. I am more of a solids person, although I like scarves, so I am thinking of these like scarves. I like the idea of wearing these under a jacket. These colors are perfect for my wardrobe, and one of them helped rescue a wardrobe orphan. These run big. I sized down one full size, otherwise arm and neck openings were too large and there was too much material.

Vince hoodie vest - It's a hoodie! It's a vest! Check! Check! All good. It's not the very best cashmere I have seen but it isn't bad either. The fit is not overly baggy in my opinion because the wide band at the bottom reigns everything in and gives it structure. I love the sleeves. It looks great with the majestic turtleneck in grey and my high waisted denim skinny jeans.

Marc Jacobs sweater - too large for me in a small size and even though it has very interesting buttons, I advise a DIY project with a less expensive sweater. IMO the thrift store is a great place to hunt for interesting buttons.
