You color-loving thing, you. These are so Angie.

The Boden Katherine dress is lovely; so sorry it didn't work for you. What did you think of the fit? One of the reviews mentions that the waist is too high.

I can bet that everything that you got look amazing on you, hope you share some pictures with us. I am trying to sit on my hands until April, but I am tempted by your Boden finds. Is the dark color in your new cobalt dress navy or black?

Thanks for the kind words, ladies. Fun to read your observations too.

Cheryl, thanks for chiming in.

Delurked, I like the dresses you’ve bought. Stick to that.

Kathie, I think they run TTS, actually. Maybe a little bit? Order tow sizes.

bj111, YES, if you order a petite. Habitual can fit me well too, and it’s a pity that these jeans don’t.

Adrianna, good strategy.

Bijou, all on order! Thank you for always being lovely.

Suntiger, whatever makes you happy

April, I didn’t think the waist of the Katherine dress was too high - it’s empire-ish. Looks good.

Anchie, NAVY, of course!

Smittie, the rigid La Coste type polo shirt collars pop really well. The knitted COS collar is too floppy to pop. COS stuff is often too oversized for my small frame, but every so often I do REALLY well. This keeps me coming back. Here are my COS items. I love their crisp integrity and quality:

It's fun to see this coming together! Especially love the yellow sweater and the Boden dress. I'm thinking of ordering that dress in green!

Beautiful keepers that will work well in your wardrobe. The watermelon sweater is tempting but I have a similar colored wool sweater dress. Love the orange.

Bad luck on the Boden crops,I am tempted by these but the lack of stretch in the fabric is putting me off.Love your colour palette for the red trousers that make the grade.

I can't wait to see that vivid outfit with combined pinks and reds!

Thank you for these reviews, Angie -- super helpful! I have not begun any kind of spring shopping but I expect to start looking soon. I don't know yet what my needs might be -- I expect I will need some lighter weight knits and possibly a topper for the milder weather here. And I'm definitely in the market for a fantastic waterproof coat.

Wow - all of these pieces you've kept are perfect for you ! You must be thrilled to have such a promising spring season ahead Spring shopping is not even on my radar yet - but if I lived in your kind of climate , I'm sure I'd be all over it too. All of this colour is so inspiring . Winter is dragging on here, and although we are all dreaming of spring, it's a ways away yet Thank you for the succinct reviews too - super helpful when out shopping .

Thanks for the reviews Angie.

I also can't wait to see your mix of reds and pinks... esp as you seem to plan on wearing three pairs of booties at once

Any chance you could take a calf measurement on the red jeans for me? I've wanted red jeans for ages, and these are very tempting.

Thanks, ladies. You're soooo nice.

Elizabeth P, with pleasure, but have to wait for them to come back from alteration. You didn't know I could wear three pairs of shoes at once?

Cardiff Girl, try them. A fun '90s look.

Laura, go for it. In a petite.

Joy, you and I like the same types of colours. WOOHOOO .

Suz, in our climate - we can never get enough of: knitwear, toppers, closed shoes. You are bang on the money.

Lisa P, YES. I'm thrilled. Spring and Summer fashion is my favourite! Hope you're getting lots of great offers on your lovely home.

So much fun when you share your finds and outfit strategies. Glad you found some red pants! Can't wait to see them in action. Its also interesting to hear why you kept or returned items. The color pallet is sooo pretty. Esp the red and pinks. And I am doing a happy dance to hear/see you got the KM abstract skirt. I love, love the yellow sweater to go with it.

What a great haul, Angie!! I've had great luck with Treasure & Bond pieces I bought last year; (jeans, top, and a shift dress) - they have ALL held up REALLY well.I can't wait to see your KM skirt! It was made for you!

Mntsofthemoon, we like the same colours so HIGH FIVE

Nemosmon, good to know. Thanks!

I can't WAIT to get my red jeans back from alterations.

See, this is why YLF can be dangerous. I start to think, “ooh, spring shopping” and then remember that I DO NOT NEED ANYTHING FOR SPRING because our spring is so fleeting here and I already own too much transitional-season clothing. The reality is that if I am looking ahead, I need to be looking ahead to *summer* dressing — perhaps a couple of new casual sleeveless and short-sleeved tops, and a new casual summer dress or two. I will need some new shorts this year as well, and this is the absolute worst time to be thinking of shorts (pasty-white, out of shape legs), so I will live in denial for a while longer.

Great and helpful reviews, Angie. I’m starting to crave color. A sweater like the COS or Treasure and Bond may be my first purchase after this hiatus.

Exactly Janet
I've learned that anything Angie considers as "Summer" is mild transitional virtually non existent weather appropriate-and Do Not Buy No Matter How Pretty!

The BR stretch cotton sweater arrived today and I really like it. I chose black to make a column of color and it fits perfectly. Just what I need for my cooler climate. It's already in the 80Fs where I moved from and here it's still in the 50Fs.

I saw that watermelon Cos cashmere in store. So soft and such a gorgeous colour. I instantly wanted it!
What great choices you’ve made.

Love the Boden Hambledon pants. I want all three colours!

Do you mind a couple more questions?
-What is the quality on the BR wide legs? $98 seems steep for unlined polyester. (Am I too price-sensitive?)
-Also how "straight" are the thighs? Proud owner of saddlebags here, have a lot of trouble with trousers.

Beautiful colors in all your choices. Makes we wish brights and i could get along!
