Reviewing Boyfriend Jeans - YouLookFab Forum

Hi,

I've been hunting for boyfriend jeans. Now that they all came in, here's what I ordered.

#1 and #2- NYDJ Leeann Stretch Skinny Boyfriend Jeans (Petite)
My original choice, in my last post, the vote was to keep the larger size which are these. These are one size up from my usual size.

#3 and #4-KUT from the Kloth 'Catherine' Boyfriend Jeans (Petite)
Another petite and slim fit, darker wash. Again one size up from my usual size.

#5 and #6-KUT from the Kloth 'Catherine' Slim Boyfriend Jeans

An Angie recommendation, they are so comfy, and have lots of slouch. This pair is my usual size but not in petite.

I kept #5/#6, but figured I should post these in case anyone else is also searching for a pair.

For reference, I am 5'3".

Love 5/6! They look like slouchy bf's but still slim. Love the wash too. I've been ordering bf's like crazy and am going to need some help sorting when they all come in. Thanks for posting!

You look great in jeans! I have the Kut Catherine Slim boyfriend jeans in white and love them. I am confused because our Nordstrom's slim Catherine's have decorative stitching on the back pockets but yours are plain

Kellygirl-Thanks! I went batty trying to find a pair that worked. It's been a lot of trying and returning.

Joy-The boyfriend jeans are really confusing to me. Even within a brand, they have a few with the same name. I have the Catherine's with Item #655400 called "slim boyfriend'. I think the one's you are referring to are Item #691400 perhaps, which are also Catherine's but listed as "stretch boyfriend" and have what looks like stitching on the back pocket?

They are confusing to me too, so this is not expert-eye opinion. I juts looked at what I like on you. 2/3 stood out, very nice fit. 5/6 too, but they seem too long.

Looks great Lisa! These are more boyfriendy to me than the ones in the first pics.

I like these. I really like 3/4 too; the Kuts are much nicer on you than NYDJ; I think the lower rise is more flattering.

Ornella and Ceit-Thanks! I did choose to keep 5/6, but I rolled them up once more before I wore them out and about.

Isis and Helen-Thanks! I agree, a darker wash always looks best on me. And 3/4 would make a great jean for tucking into tall boots, but they are not as slouchy as 5/6. Both Kut jeans are a thicker yet soft material compared to the NYDJs.

Rae-Thanks! The slouchy fit is a new look for me, a big change from my bootcuts or skinny jeans which are both tight in the thighs.

Betti and Karie-Thanks! These jeans have a nice weight to them and are quite comfy!

I gotta say, you wear jeans incredibly well. You are one of the few people I have seen that looks great in BF jeans. I agree with other respondents, I like 3/4 the best. 5/6 are incredible.
