I ordered this button down to go with my Spring Capsule, as a softer alternative to a denim jacket and after having some issues getting it, I finally got a small to try (my normal size is medium). The first pic below is how it’s modeled from Free People, second is the way it fits and the third is styled somewhat.
I used a hair tie in the back which reduced the shape in the front, but it’s too bulky to do this on a regular basis and looks strange from the back. I thought about taking it to the alterations to get some darts put in the back because I love the gauzy distressed fabric, but I don’t think it’s worth it. It’s just too big and bulky on me and doesn’t tuck well because of the length. I know some of you were interested in the shirt so I thought I would share my thoughts.
