Buried in a post somewhere, I mentioned that I would let simeone know how the AE favorite boyfriend jeans fit.
I have the AE slim bootcut in a size 8 and sized up skinnies in a size 10. I tried a size 6 of the boyfriend jeans and they were sooooooo close to fitting like an old pair of Lucky jeans that I literally wore out. I think they would have stretched out perfectly. However, in my very real life I will not wear them long enough to stretch out. I need sitting jeans, not standing jeans
I now have the size 8 that fit almost perfectly. I will definitely keep them because I haven't found much of anything that is "almost" perfect in the last couple of years.

I have bigger thighs compared to my hips and I have had a hard time finding anything that doesn't cling to them!
By the way, I also tried the "boy fit" jeans. The size 4 fit, but wasn't comfortable for my shape:
