I have been on the hunt for a fun, uber-comfy white-soled sneaker that works for 10 mile days and loves my fussy feet. This is a new-to-me brand - Nursemates. You figure if nurses wear it, it must hold up well in mileage and quality.

It didn't work for me (the heel counter isn't plush enough for my incipient pump bump on one foot, great on the other foot) but I wanted to share a review. Super cute lacing pattern with the elastic laces to make a slip on if that is your jam, but also includes regular laces. I have shown pics of both so you can see.

I ordered a 6.5W and 7W. It seems to run a tad narrow and short, more of a C than a D width. The 7W worked with thin socks in length and width. (I'm typically a 6.5W with midweight socks for example in SAS Freetime that Angie featured recently). Love the long 6 eyelet lacing pattern for excellent adjustability. All leather! Look in a local uniform shop if you want to shop B&M.

Black and white come in N, M and W. The blue is TDF, but only in M width. The removable insole is very beefy and supportive - might be too much for some - they recommend wearing a few hours at a time to get used to. I have 3/4 orthotics and there was plenty of room for them with a cushy other insole on top.

I hope these work for some YLFers and I get to live vicariously through you.
