Okay so the the RW booties and the Halogen trench coat came "speedy quick" (for the Junie B. Jones fans).  This trench was my NAS wild card.  But this is a terrific buy for a leather trench.  So first, despite the new push for sustainable packaging which often equals the item arriving like a crumpled rag, this was beautifully boxed, cardboard, tissue, on a hanger, and heavy duty garment back so it came out relatively pristine.  The leather is thin but substantial and very, very soft.  The buttons are leather coverd.  I hadn't really noticed but the shoulders are dropped and you can see from the collar is pretty wide spread notched.  The length on 5'3" me is to just above the knee.  Definitely not the 36" as marked probably at least 39" and I can measure if someone needs.  I bought the small.  I'm 107 a size 2-4 and need to wear this over blazers.  So I would usually size up to a medium but as Angie advised, Halogen runs big, which I totally agree with.  The coat is generous and if you are not wearing it over layers it would probably look sharper sized down.  If you like glide on outerwear and to wear over blazers or chunky knits then your normal size is fine.  The belt is nice and perfect length for a square knot and the sleeves come to the base of my proximal thumb joint and I have long arms.  Pockets are perfect placement.  One inside button per usual on double breasted.  I have to say for this money the trench is a total steal.  With leather running$750 to 8 at the lower price point up into the thousands, if you are considering something like this it's well worth a try on.  Points to consider.  The dropped shoulders offer less structure and a bit more bulk.  The body is generous although the belt contains that.  Sleeves are roomy so no problem with layers but if you are looking for sleek and very sharp structure to appear thinnest, then this is not for you.  The lapels are wide spread and generous.  It's a look.  I think it's a very glam look, classic and timeless.  Definitely versatile.  I did consider trying an xs but I probably can't get my heavy weight blazers underneath plus there is something luxe about being a little oversized.  It did look good over no layers and I think I partially need to adjust my eye to the dropped shoulder and look.  But add a cloche and I can definitely channel my inner Marlene Dietrich.
