Review: Bra Camisole Panache

I've seen annual posts on this so I thought I'd provide the 2013 update. I have a few tunics that I like to wear in summer that are sheer. I love a good bra cami. I've been searching for one for a few years since my favorite died (It was a Landsend and they no longer make lingerie). I've tried the Improvements ones but the cotton was quite thick and non-stretchy. The cups also bunched a bit. Most others don't come in my larger size (34DDD) This time I tried Panache

I would give it a 4 of 5 stars for me. nice soft stretchy cotton (could be a tad longer in length). Love the adjustable straps, the bra is supportive enough I need nothing else (the whole point of this) and the cups are modest (enough padding to not be indecent) My regular size fits perfectly - there are bra hooks in back like a real bra so adjustable. It is an extra layer in summer so not for the temperature sensitive, but better than a bra AND a tank.

I hope someone else tries them and is as pleased. I've seen them on Bare necessities (but not qualified for coupons) also.
BJ no uniboob (not complete separation, but clearly 2 distinct shapes with a minimal "bridge" between because of the over part of the tank, underneath the bra is very separate cups) I had no idea they did not make them in smaller cups, it's usually the other way around. I was sad the Athleta ones don't go up to my size. Zap and Diana have you tried those?

Jeanne, do you have a link for the Athleta one? I can only seem to find ones with shelf bras, and I would kill for a tank/cami in my size with separate bra cups. Don't know why everyone assumes small/medium breasts are OK with uniboob.

Everyone keeps recommending Panache to me for my particular bra fit problem (very widely separated boobs) and they are significantly cheaper and easier to get than the French bras I buy right now, but they don't make them in my size. I've seen the 34D in a store, and let me tell you there is no way I could fill that out.

Thanks for the review, Jeanne! I'm always so warm and usually don't wear a camie in the summer, but I'll keep this brand in mind if the need arises.

Thanks, Jeanne. Garnet Hill one looks promising. I think the Athleta might be a little too sporty looking for me. I actually want something I can wear on its own on really hot (non-work) days, as well as being able to use it for layering.

Wow, I didn't know anyone still made these! Too bad I ordered a bunch of camis from F21 to get free shipping on my mom's present. Thanks for the review; I will keep this idea in my back pocket for next year!

As Diana said, I wish Panache made it in a c cup. The one from Garnet Hill looks promising. The ones I've tried in the past weren't long enough in the body.
