I always really appreciate other's reviews of items or recommendations so here is mine. I recently purchases these two pairs of high rise straight leg denim pants and really like both. I purchased them during last weekend's sale and got a great price. I am not a denim gal and therefore don't shell out much $$ for jeans.

First off the denim is substantial as YFLers say. It has a nice bit of stretch without feeling like they will bag out. Both fit me really well and I like how they look (happy feelings). The straight leg seems fresh to me and I am looking forward to wearing them for SS. I really, really like the light blue color and like Angie, I love white.

As for the white pair; the pockets show through a "tiny bit" and although I hate when fabric is sheer or the pockets show through - with this particular pair its subtle to me and does not bother me. I will say the white pair is a bit higher in the rise (site says 11.25) and the light blue pair is a 10.5 rise. Also with the white pair I sized up from my normal size because I preferred that fit better. The light blue pair will require NO waist alteration (which is rare for me) and the white pair will require the typical waist alteration. Oh and they both look great with my new Madewell booties! Yipee. Just wanted to share my recent finds. AND both paris are still on SALE
