They arrived today... I think I'm keeping them, but I need to wear them around the house some more to see if the suede will break in.
The good news: they're gorgeous. Elegant, feminine, refined, yet edgy with the red (it's on the burgundy side but brighter).
Sizing can be tricky if, like for me, Vince Camuto shoes consistently run narrow in your size. I ordered both 5 and 5.5; both fit, and at first I thought I would keep the 5, but after wearing for just a few minutes I had red marks and some pain on the edges of my forefoot. My feet are medium width in the forefoot and narrow in the heel, the latter of which makes flats very difficult to fit and break in because my heels tend to slip and blister.
Btw, I tried on the MK trench coat again with my CM toffee trench to compare. The underarm fit is definitely tight, not to mention I sighed with pleasure as soon as I slid the CM coat on (the quality is that good). So back it goes! I'm glad that I avoided my initial tendency to settle.
