So... employee shopping day wasn't as dreadful as I thought it would be. Actually, there were numerous tops that fit (having no bust comes in handy!), but I couldn't buy all of them. The discount is nice, but it still adds up!

Currently we're allowed to use our employee discount on sale items as well, which is absolutely amazing...

Here's what I got:

Two necklaces

My camera is on its last leg (I can take maybe 3 pictures and then the battery dies) so I don't have pictures of everything. I got two tops and a citron cardi. One top is pictured below. The other top is cobalt with ruffles. It's a cashmere blend, really nice. The citron cardi is short sleeved with a curved hem. I wore the cobalt top & citron cardi for my first day of work.

I'm planning on wearing this outfit to work tomorrow, except I'll probably change the shoes for my cowboy booties for some edge. Does this look okay? Not too summery?

I am completely intimidated by the fashionable staff. Everyone is so stylish. So far my work formula has been boots over skinnies, an Anthro top (or Anthro-esque) and big statement accessories. I am trying to make skirts work but am having issues...

But... so far so good! I also started a diet today so hopefully I stick with it!

Oooh, how lovely! That watercolor top is terrific on you, and the necklaces are fab. I want to steal the sea blossom one from you.

I was at OO yesterday and wandered through Anthro for a few minutes. I'll be honest, it was huge and a little intimidating to find things! I will need a return trip with Laura and for you to show us the good stuff.

Georgeous items, Marianna! You look divine in that watercolor top with the purple sweater! I would steal that outfit from head to toe! The bright necklace looks awesome with the graphic tee and jacket. If I walked into Anthro and saw you looking so stylish, I'd definitely want you to help me shop!

Oh, I hate being international sometimes- I want to see that first necklace!

I love both your photos, though! Both the top and the necklace are perfect for you, and so flattering! (It's weird to say a necklace is flattering, I know- but something about the colour and size of the beads next to your face is very pretty.)

I don't think you need to be intimidated by anyone- you're looking so stylish!

Think how intimidated an under-funded, sometimes fashion-slow customer (like me) feels when stepping into those beautiful stores with salespeople who look fantastic! (hint ... frumpy!)

Anthro has just opened in London - Regent Street, over 3 levels. I work about 5 minutes away and it is my favourite place to browse. From what I have seen you definitely fit in with the other sales people, you are always immaculatley groomed and you wear lovely clothes. You look approachable and your look achieveable.

I'm glad to hear the day wasn't so bad as you had feared, and I just have to repeat what the other lasses have already said: I'd be elated to have you help me at Anthro (to be honest: I might be a little intimidated by you too upon entering the shop: I've never seen you look anything but perfectly pulled together, super stylish and sporting looks I very much admire).

agrace, someone returned a stormy seas necklace today and I snatched it up because we don't sell it in our store. I LOVE it... can't wait to wear it.

Thanks for all the compliments ladies! Today I tried the dress over skinnies look and felt really confident all day. I worked in the fitting room for a couple hours and women seemed really interested in my advice and opinions -- it was weird. I felt like a personal shopper for a few customers. It was really fun, yet I was astonished that people were trusting my style judgements. Ha.
