I listed my white blingy Miss Me jeans on Craigslist a few weeks ago. Some back and forth took place with one interested party. Today we met for the hand off. Botched first meeting, actually, as there were 2 different places in town by that name, but on the second try we had a winner.
I was struck by how cool it was to actually see the smile on someone's face with their new goodies (your old tried and true's) compared to the anonymous drop off at consignment or charity. She was 10 years older than I and had just lost about 40 or 50 pounds, so she was very excited to have her "very first Miss Me's!". Too cute. Also great was seeing how much better they fit her calves compared to mine. Truly a great fit on her. Left with a smile (and $35, which ain't too shabby either!)
