Angie, my style goals for the year are fairly simple. In a few months, well hopefully be moving into the new house, so I want to:
* find and eliminate duplicates that just keep me from wearing the one I like best
* ruthlessly purge stuff that I've been hanging on to because it cost a lot or just in case
* double check with the forum before I get rid of things because I need help
* get all my stuff into finds
I wish my goals were more evolved. But at this point... between the weight gain, the doctors orders to LOSE the weight, and the house building process, I'm just mentally not up to all that introspection. If I hadn't already defined myself as a "dystopian minimalist", I probably wouldn't even be able to come up with that much these days.
"Decision fatigue" was mentioned in some of my posts about the shoes, and I think it's spot on. Moving house will be a perfect time to purge, because I don't want to move a bunch of stuff for no dang reason
So inventory and simplifying are my main goals for 2018. I guess that could be made to sound fancier by saying is like to refine my style once again since some of the purchases I've had to make have been a bit random. Kind of "I'm cold, whatever fits and keeps me warm" has been the method to the madness. So, inventory and simplify (or refine my style again)
