Between work and family stress, I have been wound as tightly as a top this week. Seriously, it's a good thing I don't drink. So, after finishing up this round of groups, I wandered into the local GAP for a little retail therapy not expecting much since, you know, GAP is closing so many stores and all that. Well, I'm here to tell you it's not ALL over at the GAP. Not quite yet, anyway.

I found a few casual summer items -- which I usually have such a hard time with. Thought I would share.

1. Adorable marble-print t-shirt dress. I sized up to the Medium for a looser and longer fit. Will love this with sneakers or chunky heeled sandals. Wearing out for a quick casual dinner tonight with slip-on sneakers.
2. BF fit rollup shorts. A cute, relaxed style, great deep army green color. I really hate shorts but I liked these on me. Good longer length, even rolled. On sale for $25.
3. A-line tank, in both deep charcoal and ivory. Incredibly soft cotton, nice drapey sway at the bottom, just enough boho for summer. On sale for $11.

Aahhh. I felt better for about ten minutes....until my younger daughter called with her latest crisis. It never ends.
