Angie’s top pick Herringbone lantern pants just arrived and they are *fabulous* quality. Fully lined (so rare for retail these days!) and the cut is unusual but right on the mark - fitted and high waisted, wide through seat and hip, wide legged coming in to a light taper at the ankle (like lantern pants.) the tweed keeps the structure so that they are not baggy or saggy. They are a unique cut that seem avant- garde enough to be timeless. But they are wide and purple - They certainly Make a statement and may feel clownish to some.

The tweed is a perfect heathered purple in herringbone, a great weight And drape (from a Scottish Mill J Crew collaborated with.) Based On The reviews, I even got the matching blazer and I think they are great together - an unusual and high quality suit that looks and feels designer. It’s atrue unicorn - THANK YOU Angie for finding these, they are absolutely perfect for my body type and I never would have found them without you!

Great for curvy/pear shaped petites with a defined waist. Waist hits quite high so you have to be ok with that.

Also - wanted to highlight this J Crew cardigan. It is more like a fall jacket in stiff double faced wool - the quality and seaming is so impeccable that it can be worn inside out (which I often do to show off the alternate color.) it is supposed to be a swingy oversized fit, so size down if you don’t want that. This also feels designer in my opinion, and that’s high praise coming from me considering I Nearly swore off all J Crew because I was tired of overpaying for mediocre quality.

Will show pics soon!
