I've given it several tries and it works well, although not quite as well as I had pictured. For one thing, I bought the largest capacity one I could find on Amazon without going into restaurant kitchen sized 5 gallon ones that cost over $100. Even so, it is only going to work for small items. I was picturing bras, a few summer tops I have that call for hand washing, and sweaters.
Results are yes for bras, one or two at a time. Yes for light and thin summer tops. No for sweaters...just can't hold them and wet they are so heavy that the spinner doesn't work.
For the other things, the spinner function works but I still need to wrap in a towel before hanging to dry. It does get out a decent amount of water, just not quite enough.
One thing that is good is that if the items are light it is easy to lift the basket, dump over the outer container, then refill to rinse. I found that part of the process much easier than washing in a single tub.
So...decent but not amazing. An improvement over other ways I've tried so I will keep using it but it doesn't make it so trouble free I'm ready to buy a lot of hand wash items.
