Replacement Ugg boot insoles

I'm looking to replace the insoles of my Ugg "Finney" moto boots -- I have pretty much worn them out, and walking all over Europe in those boots didn't help! However, everywhere I look online offers the insoles only in full sizes, and my boots are an 8.5. I pulled the old insoles out, and they are even marked 8.5.

Have any of you replaced Ugg insoles with half sizes? Any advice?

I bought some for a BIL and what I read was that they expected you to cut them to the correct size. There were mixed reviews about the success of that. I think they were from Zappos or Amazon. This was a couple of years ago.

Haha, I just looked it up on Amazon's product page, and looked at the question and answer section -- the answers are evenly divided between sizing up and sizing down. So helpful!

They seem kind of thick to cut, especially if you only need to cut a little bit. But I hate to get them too short, and have my toes or my heels hit some sort of ridge at the edge.

Well, I bit the bullet and ordered some in a size 8 from Zappos. Along with some new socks (I literally walked holes in a pair in Europe!). We'll see how they work out!

I would try contacting Ugg directly and see what they say.

I sent them a message via their customer support page the other day and haven't heard back yet. I figure if the ones from Zappos don't work, returns are easy enough.
