Apparently they send two sizes just in case one doesn't work out. I think it is the beginning of a great idea, though it does have flaws right now. Like Marianna, the idea of getting an expensive dress that gets hardly any wear is not appealing to me, so I could see myself using this if the need arose.
But, I am guessing that if you had an occasion that was formal enough to warrant a couture dress, it would be that much more important for it to fit and flatter exquisitely. Sometimes you can try on a thousand dresses and none of them will work out, and it would be a disaster to have to wait until the day before the occasion to try your dress on and find out it doesn't look good. They should allow you to select a maximum of maybe five dresses to try for free, send the ones you don't like back within a certain amount of days, and charge you only for the one you keep. And if you don't send the ones you don't want back, you will be charged for them for each day you keep them beyond the allotted time.
