Hi everyone, just a quick note to share the news that my Mom has died a few days ago, after her lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. I'm rather shell-shocked to be honest, but I am finding that sharing is helping and I know you are such a kind and supportive group, and also that many of you have experienced the same, so I wanted to let you know.

My Mom was infinitely kind, gentle, patient and caring. She worried more for everyone else than herself right up to the end. I am grateful that I was with her in the final days and even the final moments, and I am so grateful that Life blessed me with a Mom like her. I hope I can carry some of light forward into the future.

My Mom loved navy, and I'll be wearing it for her memorial in her honour (it was something we shared of course!). I'll also be adding some bright raspberry-pink somehow - her signature accent colour. She always seemed to rather me in a skirt or dress, so I'm searching - but might end up in pants as I'm not having much luck, as my final act of loving, playful daughter-to-mother annoyance ❤️ (if we can't laugh at least a little, all is lost).

Thank for letting me share, friends. xx
