Reliving my hippie days? Nostalgic tee and casual WIWs.

I was intrigued by Angie's post on nostalgic tees, even though I didn't own any and wasn't sure that it was really my style to wear a rock concert tee.

But I looked around a bit and found this one on Etsy, and I really like it for my version of Angie's formula- I love the photographic print!
Any guesses what the picture is?

I tried it with some different jackets, from dressier to more casual. Does this work OK?

Also, a bonus super-casual GOTG look.

1: WIW to my book club- with white Banana Republic blazer, Kut from the cloth slim Catherine BF jeans, Eileen Fisher sandals
2: WIMW- with pale gray Helmut Lang bomber jacket trying a casual look with this jacket- does it work?
3: WIW to the garden store (really casual)- with white denim jacket and Cons.

4,5: Bonus GOTG outfit for picking grandkids up from school and taking them to lessons. Zara striped top, white jeans, Born metallic flats, fun Zara "lips" necklace.

YES x 3! The graphic tee with all of the toppers work. I LOVE the HL, in particular! Great GOTG outfit too. I would totally wear that. Parsley, you always look so pulled together and stylish! Love every one of these!

I can't figure out what's on the tee though. Looks like a crowd of peeps.

It is Woodstock. I was just adding a larger picture when you guessed it!
It really is a nostalgic scene for me from my teen years. I wasn't there, but it was such an iconic event that influenced our time.

When I wore this top to my book club, they guessed it right away! We're all more or less of that vintage.

IMO, that is the PERFECT nostalgic tee! Fits with our age group doesn't it? Love it all three ways but must say, it looks especially fab with the HL bomber.

Really like that flowy striped top with the cropped jean - very nice. Those metallic flats look great with the outfit.

I'm going to guess Woodstock on the photo, which I wouldn't have guessed but for the hippie reference. But maybe that's too obvious. What a cool shirt - from far it just looks like some funky pattern. You rock!

I love your tee and knew it but came to late to guess. I like it styled best in 1 a d 3, but all the outfits look great.
LOL, Shannon, that definition even includes me, born at the very beginning of the boomers. There wee so many births that the hospital I was born in had newborns lined up in the hallways in dresser drawers.

Okay, without looking at the responses, I'm saying Woodstock! So fun! And I love each and every one of these outfits!

You know, my husband's cousin is in a very famous LIFE photo taken during the concert. She had lied to her parents about where she was and when the photo was published and they saw it, she was in a whole lot of trouble!!

I was too young to think about going but I knew about it, and I still love Joni Mitchell's song!

You picked the perfect nostalgic Tee. Love it.

That is a fantastic shirt, Parsley! I was guessing either Woodstock or a sit-in.
I really, really like it and the ways you have it styled. My favorite is with the Cons and denim jacket, the combination just seems to have a lot of energy.

Ok without looking Im going to say Woodstock! For two reasons, some of the 'looks' make me think of Jimmi Hendrix and Janis Joplin and Woodstock "the rock festival" of the ages! I was 4 but I have read about it lol

It's a great tee, Parsley. I thought Woodstock but was uncertain because everyone is clad. In all the pix I've seen there's been a lot of skin on show.
I like all three jackets with the tee and echo Pil on the white denim, it does have a lot of energy.
The GOTG outffit is perfect for the task; do the kids like your lips pendant?

A lot of people got Woodstock! I'm impressed!
