Look at the sky! Not only is it a quote that is found all over Paris, but it is also the brand of my new booties.

I've been looking for ankle boots for quite awhile and finally came across this brand. The leather is buttery soft and the European sizing, low heels, and rubber soles feel like heaven on my narrow, fussy feet.

My question for you is whether they look okay with a skirt? I wore this today to vote. I've worn them already with jeans and I have happy feet. Yay!

The booties look great with a skirt! Love the whole outfit. I find it so hard to get the proportions right with a sweater and skirt, but you look fab!

I really like them with the skirt. And that's saying a lot, bc non-kneehigh boots with skirts is a look I'm still warming up to. They look like really great boots!

Those booties look sensational. So soft!! I am going to be on the lookout for the brand.

I think this works really well, despite the slight ankle gap. Not only have you preserved the leg line by keeping everything tonal but you've also chosen just the right pieces to complement the boots and keep the mood dressy-casual.

Suz, I was wondering about that ankle gap. That's why I had only worn them with jeans up until now. I was hoping they would work with skirts and dresses, too.

AviahMariah, I hope you can find the booties. There is not much online for that brand. I only found that one link that I linked to. I actually came across them at a family run shoe store in my town. I'm hoping my store continues to carry the brand. They fit like a dream.

Debora, I just had to come back to this post of yours after seeing Angie's toffee sweater today and yours for the first time. Not only do I love this cashew sweater with the blue denim shirt, I love your new booties.

To see the French phrase and the images of Paris, was wonderful, and I seriously think I'm turning into a Francophile and I can't decide whether to refresh my high school French through Rosetta Stone or go for Spanish, which would be more appropriate where I live.

Love the thought of regarde le ciel, and I do it often.

Debora - fantastic outfit. I absolutely love the booties with the skirt and tights!! I love you color combination and I especially like the line of the skirt tail sweater with the skirt. Elegant, relaxed, refined. Your bag and necklace were just perfect choices. I don't think it can get any better than this!!

Oh, yes, these are beautiful with skirts. The shaft is low, so the gap works fine, I think!
