Just revisited the thread to see other responses, and I'm a little glad to see I have plenty of company in being unimpressed. More to the point of my habit lately of being a fashion curmedgeon:
Mom / boyfriend jeans, well something baggy-ish: I'm already not in love with BF jeans for me, and mom jeans are never happening on my body again. Nope nope nope.
Apple watch: Hmm, maybe, someday. For now, I'll take a new iPhone, but not the big one.
Doc Martens: I never thought they went out of style, but I doubt I'll invest more in them just for the sake of trendiness. My shoe taste is getting a little more refined lately, and I have enough clunky shoes.
Padlock necklaces: Sounds like something that will look completely dated on January 1, 2016.
Brown as neutral: OK, that I can get behind, but I'm more into black and grey. Still, it is nice to have some variety.
Overskirt (I believe that the skirted leggings may fall into this): Not for me. a) I don't wear leggings b) I'm not wearing the few skirts I have left, and c) above-the-knee skirt lengths look bad on me, so just no.
Uniqlo (I thought they had their moment about 2 years ago...): OK, fine for basics, but their offerings have never excited me.
Japanese brand Sacai: Some of the designs look interesting, but this is high-end stuff, and I don't see what little I've seen of this translating to everyday life for most women.
Korean models as social media stars: I just can't relate. But I don't care much about social media stars anyway.
fancy patches: ??? I saw a photo of this last night, and it looked like someone slapped my old Girl Scout badges all over a shirt. This looks really juvenile to my eye, and contrived. I guess someone thought it would look "fun and quirky" but it's not for me.
