red for Deb (glasses 6) and new fav

Deb asked to see me in dark red frames so I made another trip to the optometrist. I grabbed these by color, not shape. At the end I grabbed a pair that was black but lined in burgundy, and I really liked them--I want to know what you think of them as an every day pair?

1. Red cateyes! fiction by l.a. eyeworks
2. Kate Spade
3. Round! fiction by l.a. eyeworks
4. Burgundy--Marc by Marc Jacobs
5, 6. Black lined with ombre burgundy--SALT.
7. Current favorites--gray Alexander McQueen, brown tortoise Burberry, burgundy lined black SALT.

Have to admit I think the red cateyes are fun!

Oh, Adelfa I really like the black and red pair. I also like #1. The shape is so good for your face.How do you feel about #1? If I had to make a choice right now, I would pick the McQueens and the black and red.

Deb, I actually really liked #1! I wouldn't use them as a primary pair of glasses, but I could picture putting them on for fun. And I wear so many neutrals that it might even work! Surprise!

Your favorites are also mine. But when I put the black and red pair in the same frame as the McQueens, they seem a little droopy. I was thinking of getting them both. But maybe I should pick just one, and then consider the red cateyes? Do you like both the McQueens and the black and reds better than the red cateyes?

No, I like the McQueen's and the red cateyes the best. I only said the red and black because I thought you were more comfortable with them. I really think you would wear the red frames more often than you think. I really like the shape on your face and the color with your skin and hair.
