while getting my tires replaced at costco, i enjoyed checking out the eyeglasses in the optical department. i loved a pair of red, plastic, slightly cat-eye retro looking mikil frames, and took down the info to think about it.

after a quick google search, i found quite a few articles stating that red glasses were a sign that an 'older woman' was trying too hard to look young. these were articles written by women, and comments from other women.

i am pushing 35 in august, and started wondering if i was slowly sliding into the 'trying too hard' category? i enjoy wearing animal print clothes and shoes, geometric patterns, red lipstick and shoes, etc...

well, my second pick would be cat-eye tortoise shell plastic frames...
