I have red shoes, red sandals, but no red booties. I do have burgundy booties that i bought last year, and do definately not need any more booties. These sure are tempting though...

I used to have a pair of red booties many years ago. I love the look, but was surprised how infrequently I reached for mine. Same with gray boots. Also teal don’t get too much use (a gift, not a color I would have picked for myself). Maybe I prefer a clean line of color all the way down.

But I do have a pair of purple boots that see a lot of daylight. And I do like my patent red flats that aren’t too flat. Not sure I’ve got it sorted, but I like looking at your finds.

Wow you have been busy! Red boots are fun. Mine are suede, which makes them soft and comfortable, but I do have to worry about them getting wet. Leather or patent is likely to be more practical for fall and winter weather.

You've just helped me realize that when it comes to boots in a statement color like white or red, the heel needs to NOT match the boot color. The ones with a stacked or black heel and sole look toned down enough that I could feel confident wearing them, even though the main color would be a new experience for me.
Maybe this is my bridge to future FULL color-pop booties? Thanks for the visuals!
