I have a black cashmere sweater that I got from Garnet Hill eons ago, and I practically live it in all winter. It's light, warm, and soft as a cloud. But woe is me, it now has a giant hole in the elbow, and I bought a replacement for it. I started investigating how to avoid just tossing the old one, and discovered that Wrap London recycles cashmere https://help.wraplondon.info/h.....r-cashmere UPDATE: Not available to U.S. customers. Maybe in the future.

They send you an envelope to put it in, and then it goes off to Italy to be recycled into other garments. It has to be pure cashmere, so they want you to leave the label on to confirm the fiber content. It's a nice option if you want to give a second life to your cashmere items!
