The patterned tights I am wearing right now (sheer black w/ opaque black rose pattern) are driving me nuts! They are simultaneously too long (in the rise) and too short (in the leg) plus they are constricting in the thighs and saggy in the crotch. I can't wait to go home and take them off. =P
Anyway, was wondering whether anyone had any recs for comfy patterned tights that are relatively inexpensive (since I ruin hosiery, especially sheers, at an alarming rate). I usually size up in hosiery since I have long legs and a big butt/thighs but even so, I would like something very stretchy and comfy (I find patterned tights tend to be less stretchy than plain ones for some reason...) =P

And a related question: Is there any way to get rid of the thing that happens where sheer tights appear darker/more opaque on one's skinnier bits than one's wider bits? It drives me nuts particularly the contrast between ankles and calves.
