Of all the suits I own, my favorite is my Brooks Brothers suit. The material is great, and the suit looks and feels expensive. Brooks Brothers will also steam the suit for you for free, which is always a nice perk. I know they currently have a navy blue suit that has a longer jacket and a pencil skirt, and I believe there is a pants option as well. I just saw it in the store today, but the jacket was too long for me.
For a slightly less expensive suit that is wrinkle resistant, I would recommend Ann Taylor's triacetate blend suits. What's so nice about those is that Ann Taylor makes the sutis season after season, in the same fabric. So if you purchase a jacket you love one season, but tire of the skirt or pants (or vice versa) you can buy a single piece in the future and it will match the pieces you already own. I have found the triacetate blend to be quite wrinkle-resistant. Ann Taylor will also steam your suits for you, although sometimes that varies by location and the salesperson you speak with.
I also own some J. Crew suits and a Theory suit, and I like those a lot as well. And in keeping with my theme of stores that will steam for free, Nordstrom will always do so if you purchase your suit from them.
