This week was a bit of a mixed bag weather wise, some lovely warm days and other cooler days, so my WIWs reflected that. I quite like the changing seasons.
Outfit 1 - wearing jeans with the new owl scarf and a blue top belted over the jeans. I remember wearing tops like this in my teens!
Outfit 2 - new dress with my old faithful Zara blazer
Outfit 3 - Pink denim jacket, white blouse, pink and white skirt and white boots (felt very 80's in this)
Outfit 4 - for LBD's Costober challenge - my Cruella Deville inspired outfit, black dress and white cape with red handbag
Outfit 5 - long floral dress with cape
Outfit 5A - long floral dress with long cardigan
Outfit 6 - Black jump suit and formal puffer (the closet orphan, that was discovered in my wardrobe edit session - I am going to wear this to the ballet next month and possibly to a work dinner, as long as you think it does not look too out there). I like the puffer more from the side, it has a beehive effect!
Outfit 7 - my western inspired dress, rediscovered in the closet edit. I like the print on this dress (zoomed in photo). I think this dress could be cute with my white boots.
Outfit 8 - same dress as #2, worn on its own with different accessories.
During my closet edit I realised I have lots of lovely dresses and do not need to buy any more. My workout clothing is not great, so whilst that gives me far less joy than a wonderful new dress, I should spend some money on those and hopefully it will get me exercising more.
I would be interested to see:
1. Which outfit you prefer, the long floral dress with the cape or cardigan? Personally I felt more me in the structured cape and this is what I wore to work;
2. Whether the black jumpsuit and puffer work?
Your comments and suggestions are always much appreciated.
